Welcome to the Sands Promotions Art Department, please take a few moments to read about what we require from you to enable us to produce your promotional products masterpiece. It is important to recognise that the design we print onto the product is of equal, if not more, importance to the product itself in achieving recognition for your brand. Consequently the better the quality of art that you provide, the better the end result!

How to supply artwork

Included in our set-up charges is an allocation of 15 minutes for typesetting, scanning and colour separation. If your artwork is not supplied to our specifications or requires work in addition to the 15 minutes allocated you will incur additional charges. You will be advised of these costs before the commencement of any additional work that may be required.

  • Electronic files created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as .eps files for all print jobs. All fonts should be converted to outlines.

  • Jpeg files are acceptable for embroidery work only.

Your artwork can be supplied on

  • Email to art@sandspromotions.com.au or your Sands Promotions account manager (do not email files larger than 4mb)

  • CD

We DO NOT accept the following formats

  • Files created in formats other than stipulated above.

  • Tiff and Bitmap file types.

  • Faxes, photocopies, business cards or letterheads.

Why do we require eps file types?

EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) files define graphics using mathematical algorithms that allow for scaling and modification without a loss of image resolution, in other words they can be manipulated.

Other file types like Bitmap images are defined by a precisely “mapped” collection of individual dots or pixels and cannot be manipulated.

Can I use artwork containing PMS colours?

Sands Promotions will accept files with PMS (Pantone® Matching System) colours in EPS files but will convert them to RGB (Red, Green, Blue) colours for display on your monitor. The original PMS information will be passed to production with your artwork, but you should also note your PMS colours at "Step 2: Prep It, Verify Colour Information", in the Design Studio. This will ensure your specifications are included with your order.

How long will I be able to store artwork with Sands Promotions?

Saved artwork and product samples can be saved for up to one year.
